I’ve been known to make the same mistakes over and over again. But one thing that has been consistently funny to me this summer is the many dutch words I use. My favorite ones are: ‘french fries’, ‘flip-flops’, and’spritz’.
A few weeks ago I tweeted a picture of my new favorite word “dutch” and had an amazing response from a Dutch lady.
I asked her what she thought of it and she said: “I don’t speak Dutch, but I’ve been known to have an awesome time with my Dutch friends.” So I guess you could say I have a good time with my Dutch friends.
Another interesting thing that I noticed in the dutch language is that there are several words for the same thing. For instance, the word kop is used a lot for a coffee cup or pot. Also the word kopz is used for a coffee cone. And koppen is used for a pastry. So dutch people are pretty fluent in their language and its pretty much the same as ours, but that doesn’t mean that I am.
The Dutch are pretty much the same as us in the sense that they are very fluent in their language. To be fluent in something means that you can read, write, and speak it well. But there are a few differences. For one thing, Dutch is more of a language of expression. Whereas we are more of a language of expression, not a language of speech.

The best strategy to avoid the confusion of language is to use the English language. It’s actually pretty easy to understand the Dutch language. The “f” in the word “fool” is pronounced as a “fuh,” with a guttural “g” sound. It’s pronounced the same way in the Dutch word “fug,” but a little different. The Dutch word “fout” is pronounced “fuh-tout.
Because you can pronounce words like fout without any stress, fout is the most common form of fout in the Netherlands. In fact, nearly every second word in Dutch is spelled fout. Fout is very similar in meaning to fout but pronounced a bit differently.
