It’s been a while since I’ve had a serious spanish conversation, so I had a lot of fun recently with a man who told me he’d like to get into a conversation with me about spanish, so he gave me a new Spanish vocabulary word. His favorite word was “soneros.” He was just having fun, but I was impressed with his confidence in speaking spanish. I’m sure I was too.
Most of the people on Deathloop are just as dumb as those on other platforms, but it’s definitely one of those things that a couple of people will be able to figure out.
Speaking Spanish is something a lot of people from different backgrounds have in common. So it’s not like it’s some completely foreign language. It’s just different. And different is good. I think it’s important, especially in this day and age when so many people are trying to seem more “normal”, to not lose what makes us special.
Most of the people on Deathloop have a Spanish name. This is because the island is a Spanish enclave, and the people who live there are mostly Spanish by heritage, but other parts of the world are also included. Some of the people who live there speak English, and some of the people who speak French. And because the island is Spanish, there’s always someone who wants to speak some Spanish.
But when the guys from the Spanish enclave get on Deathloop and they talk in Spanish to someone in English and a few other speakers, things start to get weird. One of the guy who speaks Spanish who is on the island also speaks English, and they all start to yell at each other. Well, they’re not really yelling at each other, but they are yelling at each other, and everyone seems to get a little annoyed when they don’t communicate.
Its not clear if this is just a minor annoyance or a major plot point, but if it is a minor annoyance then its a good thing. I mean really, all the Spanish seems to be doing is yelling at each other, which is always a good thing.
Speaking Spanish is a skill that should be learned, and the fact that its being taught by our heroes is a great example of the way in which our storytelling is improving. So much of our story dialogue is in Spanish, which is a testament to our storytelling. If we want people to understand what we’re saying, we have to make it easy for them to understand what we’re saying, so they can understand what we are saying.
Our hero’s dialogue has been translated into Spanish and is being put together by the mysterious Mr. Mendez, who has created a system allowing us to talk with our heroes in their own language. To some people this may sound like magic, but the truth is that it’s not. Our characters have to memorize their lines, and Mr. Mendez is using our brains to do it.
Mr. Mendez has also created a system that enables us to speak Spanish with our characters. Our dialogue is translated into Spanish and used to communicate with our heroes in real time. So if we want Colt to know about a particular part of the game, he will have to memorize the language of the game.
Mr. Mendez is also teaching us Spanish vocabulary. Like many other people who speak a very different language, we have to find our words and get them memorized. Speaking in Spanish in any language is an incredible experience, and it’s also a hell of an education.
