The Museums of the World Museum in Holland has a huge exhibition of the works of artists and sculptors from around the world. This is my favorite museum: it’s a huge, comprehensive collection of works and materials from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, France, Germany, Spain, UK, Norway, UK, Ireland, USA, and Switzerland.
If only this museum had the same collections in many other countries too. A lot of European artists and artists in other countries have had their works stolen. It’s an issue that we don’t often think about because art is a relatively easy thing to steal, but it is. It’s not just the paintings, it’s the sculptures, the prints, the drawings. If you don’t want your art stolen, there are a few things you can do.
First, there’s the usual ways that you can get your art returned to you. For example, you can complain to your local police force. Or you can contact a museum. Or you can post a news story on your website. Or you can buy stolen art. Or you can buy art from other people who have it. So if you steal art from a museum, it’s probably not too hard to just steal it yourself (with a fake ID).
But that doesn’t stop others from stealing it. So when you have some of your pieces on display at a museum, it’s not that hard to steal them! All you have to do is go to the front desk and ask for your museum’s card. Then when you turn out your pieces in the museum, you’ll find them are all empty.
That sounds like a pretty good way to steal art. At least it is for a museum. But, its not for all the museums. Some of the museums have a collection policy that you have to put your own artwork in, or they will take it all. The other main option you have is to take other people’s artwork, and put it in your own collection. This is usually much less hassle, but you do have to keep the pieces of art in your own collection.

The Netherlands is also one of the top tourist destinations in Europe, so there’s plenty to do there, but you can still find some of the more obscure museums.

The Dutch have a huge collection of old tapestries, which I found a bit off putting: they may not be that old, but they are old, and we have to pay for the privilege of looking at them. I also found some of the lesser-known items in the collections to be a bit of an adventure in itself.
The best way to find something in Holland is to go to the museum. But the Netherlands is also home to its own museums, which are open to the public. These museums are open on the first and third Friday of each month. The best museums in the Netherlands can be found in the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Groningen.
