I’m currently living in a house that was built in the late 1600’s and the only thing keeping it from falling down is the exterior paint. I’ve got some new paint on the interior which is a much better job than the exterior, but nothing will ever replace the interior paint. So, I have been trying to learn how to take care of myself. I have started by getting a small painting project going.
I recently got some painting supplies from a local art supply store and am learning how to work with them. I’m trying to learn how to use paints like a pro and am finding that I’m having trouble with this. Because the colors are so bright, I can’t see straight, and the paint is not transparent. So I am trying to work with the paint in places where I can see how it looks.

Like using a pen to show off the mistakes and how they are over when they are in a new room. Or, even better, painting over some of the mistakes that are visible in the original flooring.
