A while ago I was having a conversation with my friend about how we each could improve our life and our lives with the same thing: poop. She asked me how I felt about it and I said that I just didn’t feel the same about it. It took me a few seconds to say that I just didn’t feel the same. I took that as a sign to stop thinking about poop and just start thinking about my life.
I think most of my friends would disagree with you on that one. Why? Because poop is about as much a part of my life as my body. Not that my body is going to go out into the world and do things to help people or save the world, but my poop is just there, waiting to be used.
I’m sure someone will tell you that I’m being overly dramatic and that I’m taking this too far. I’m not. I think it’s just a natural response to something so ephemeral. But I’m also being real. I don’t know that I’m ever going to get over my poop, but I will get over my poop.
That’s my point. And it’s also why I’m going out on a limb to say that your poop is probably the most important thing about you. In some cases, it’s the only thing. But poop is so much more than just a person’s body. It’s a culture, it’s a family, and it’s a connection to the rest of the world. In my opinion, it’s an integral part of our soul.
It would take a lot of time to get to the point that you should probably have your poop in your pants, but you really don’t. It would take a lot of time to get there and tell your boyfriend that you’re okay with it.
