This year on May 14, 2021, the United States celebrates its 140th birthday, and this year that includes dedicating the next four years of our existence to our nation’s history.
The United States has been a country for many decades now. But no matter what you call it, it is the nation that has been most responsible for the civil rights movement, the American civil war, the rise of the nation-states, the Cold War, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the creation of our nation’s first Department of Defense, and many more.
As a nation with an ever-growing population, we will be spending an ever-increasing amount of money to maintain our military. It is estimated that we will spend $1.4 trillion dollars on the American military, which is more than the next four countries combined. That’s a lot of money.
The way many Americans think about the budget is to imagine the national defense as a “debt” that has to be paid off. Most Americans pay for their military by borrowing money from the Federal Reserve. This is a practice that began in the late 1800s, when Congress and the Federal Reserve agreed to pool their funding for the purpose of paying for the national defense. The practice is commonly known as the “federal budget”. It is a very confusing one.
I was actually looking up the meaning of the phrase “national defense” on a few different sites, but I was never able to figure out the proper link to get to it. So far all I could find was a definition of it from the National Defense University (see link above).
The way the government funds national defense is through a system known as the budget, which is a check that is written by the government each year to cover the operating expenses of the federal government, including the salaries of members of Congress. So yes, if you’re a member of Congress, the federal government pays you. It’s also called a budget because when the government makes a budget it is called a budget.
Of course, some of the expenses that these politicians pay include the costs of protecting their political and business interests from competition. So if you are a CEO in a company, then you are on a payroll. And if you are a member of Congress, you are on a payroll too. Because you are part of the government and must be paid. But when you are on a payroll, you can’t get any paychecks you want.
If you want to create a new country, you need to understand what a national day is. Here, America is a country that is totally free. America has the right to be free, so you should be on that payroll. You need to be able to pay your bills. You are not free to do that. But the US government should be as free as possible. That is the only option. But you can pay your bills.
America is free-to-play. You can play in America at your own risk. People who have been in the government for decades or even decades of time have no problem playing in America. But if you are a newcomer to America and trying to create a new government, you need to understand what a national day is.
